AIDAprima

On March 14, 2016, AIDA Cruises took delivery of its first newbuild of a new ship generation from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. (MHI) in Nagasaki.

AIDAprima is the first of a new generation of energy-efficient cruise ships. The ship has 124,500 GRT, is 300 meters in length and 37.60 meters wide, with space for around 3,300 passengers and was built in Nagasaki/Japan by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

We are proud for being one major supplier with a total volume of 48.000 lighting fixtures of which 15.000 were delivered in our innovative LED execution, developed for the specific conditions on board for passenger and crew cabins as well as for public places.

The Downlights combines refined technical features while incorporating the most simple and practical assembly with high quality demands from light designers and naval architects at the latest state of the art.

Lightpartner rounded-off the scope of delivered lighting fixtures with a various range of decorative and custom made luminaires. Not least because of our highly qualified and top motivated team of technicians it was possible to meet all special requirements of the customer.
