Symphony of the Seas
The world's largest cruise liner has been handed over to Royal Caribbean and will open its first and only season in the Mediterranean from April 2018 to October 2018.
362 metres long, 66 metres wide, the Symphony of the Seas can accommodate up to 6.870 passengers and 2.100 crew members. The superlative ship built by the STX Shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, with its 228,000 gross registered tons is slightly larger than its sister ship "Harmony of the Seas", which was delivered in May 2016. It is a floating city with restaurants, skating rink, musical theatre, surf simulator, gyms and a 30 metre long giant slide. Lightpartner supplied for each cruise ship over 18.000 luminaires mainly in LED design for the most diverse areas of cabins, technical areas, galleys, cold stores and deck lightings like floodlights
