With the AIDAnova, AIDA Cruises placed the first of three ships of the latest AIDA generation into service in December 2018.

The AIDAnova measures 337 metres in length and 42 metres in width. On the 184,000 GT cruise ship there are 2,626 cabins for approx. 6,600 passengers.

The highlight of the new building is the "Green Cruising" concept: The AIDAnova is the world's first cruise ship to be completely powered by liquid gas. The cruise ship was awarded the "Blue Angel" eco-label by the Federal Republic of Germany.
